Parliament has approved shs.750 million to purchase a tent to accommodate all MPs for plenary sessions. Previously, before plenary was moved to the main chambers, Parliament was spending about to shs.300 million per month to rent a tent.
This comes as a result of Roko construction company which was supposed to hand over the Shs 200 billion new parliamentary chamber to the parliamentary commission on the 27th of July, this year. But it’s still incomplete.
