CEC of NRM has endorses Anita Among as their flag bearer for 11th Parliament speakership Position

Due to the Urgent need to fill the vacant position for the speaker of the 11th Parliament of Uganda a position that became vacant following the death of Rt Hon. Jacob Oulanyah that was on 20th March 2022, on 22nd March 2022, the parliament of Uganda announced that the House will sit on Friday, 25 March 2022 for election of the Speaker of Parliament.

Today 23rd March 2022, the 8th meeting of the 4th Central Executive Committee of the National Resistance Movement Party sitting at Entebbe today, 23rd March, 2022 has recommended to the NRM Parliamentary Caucus the Rt Hon. Anita Among Annet for endorsement as NRM candidate for the position of Speaker of the 11th Parliament of Uganda.
