Zaake is not suitable to be a Commissioner – Ssemujju

Former Opposition Chief Whip and a member of parliament representing Kira Municipality Hon. Ssemujju Nganda has come out to say that he doesn’t think Hon. Zaake is most suitable to be the commissioner of parliament.
“Though the standards of MPs have gone down, I don’t think Zaake is most suitable to be a Commissioner, but i like Zaake as an individual. Things have changed and the Parliament as well. I don’t see a difference between many MPs now and Zaake. We are all the same. The standards have gone down,” Ssemujju Said.
This comes in less than a week where Hon. Zaake Francis was kicked out of the parliament commission office.
MP Zaake who appeared before the parliamentary disciplinary committee on 10th March 2021 for insulting the integrity of Parliament after he took to social media and used offensive language to express his dissatisfaction with the Deputy Speaker’s statement regarding his alleged torture.
Semujju Further said that him and Leader of Opposition Mathius Mpuuga went to the Deputy Speaker of Parliament to plead for Hon. Zaake. Only to tell them that the case was beyond her at that moment. It had been taken over by other people who felt for Parliament and her as an individual, “Semujju says.
