According to State Minister Ministry of Public Service Grace Mary Mugasa, Government is on the way to bring the bill called Funerals Management Policy 2021 where Burials should be conducted only on weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
If this bill is approved, it will mean that only Saturday and Sunday will be the days allowed for the burial services to be conducted and after the burial, Relatives and friends of the deceased will be required to return to work immediately.
Still under this law government wants to allocate one place where to burry government officials in a policy called Zero Draft Policy and Minister of Public Service Grace says that the consultations from the public will help to find out problems that people face during funeral services and to rectify them.
