Steps On How to use WhatsApp Web without a Smartphone
Step 1: Open WhatsApp on your phone and tap on the three-dotted icon, located on the top right corner of the WhatsApp screen to display Options.
Step 2: Select Linked devices and then tap again on Multi-device beta for the page options to display, which explains the limitations of the feature and other things.
Step 3: From here, tap on the Join Beta button to continue and select link device button to scan the QR Code on your WhatsApp Web, desktop app or Portal.
Lastly on WhatsApp web some features such as view live location on companion devices, messages with link previews, creating and viewing broadcast list are not supported.
