As people are preparing and rushing to home in the villages for Christmas, Traffic Police along,
Fort-Portal – Kasese road under the command of Fort Portal resident city commissioner Mr Rodgers Mbabazi, has put Road Block checkpoints where all travelers on road boarding to villages for Christmas season have to present their Covid-19 Vaccination cards as the only way to proceed with their journey.
Police and authorities have also set up a vaccination point at their road blocks where unvaccinated travelers have to first get vaccinated before they continue with their journey.
This comes as also Transport fares have been hiked as its a norm in Uganda during such festive seasons
